MUNICIPAL PUBLISHING PRODUCTION
The publishing activity of the municipality, based in the Municipal Library, has been marked by a gradual increase in the number of municipal publications and publication support to commercial editions, with an annual average of 10 publications. There were 28 publications between 2014 and 2019, and another 27 were supported.

Groups of national or foreign authors were distributed over different spaces with distinctive features of the city, with the challenge of provoking creation by the participants on a topic about Póvoa de Varzim. The collaborative writing gave rise to an individual or collective work, compiled and published in an original edition as part of the commemorative publication of the 20th anniversary of the Literary Festival in 2019.
A photographer, an illustrator, a translator and a journalist circulated among the writers, in an original work of creation and understanding of the richness of the universe of literature.
